Watching all this, he could only sigh. He knew he was seeing all this because he was feeling blue… Rain wasn't that sad, right?
“Hey…are
you okay?” a voice called from far away. Steps resounded on the wooden
floorboards and a hand was put reassuringly on her shoulder.
“I…don’t
know. It feels as if something’s missing….but I have everything. I’m
just being ungrateful…” she sighed and leaned her forehead against the
cool glass, close to the hand. A platinum band rested on her ring
finger, shining in the artificial light.
Her
hand was taken off the glass and kissed as lovingly as possible. Kisses
trailed from her hand to her fingers and to her neck, where it was
nuzzled in affection.
“You’re not being
ungrateful, love. You’re just missing him… everything will be alright,
you’ll see. We have a fresh start here- no more people to be afraid of
or threaten us.” The person sighed and hugged her. She reveled in the
hug, hiding her face in her lover’s neck.
“…I know, but now that it’s gone, I’m missing it. Them too...Not to mention, I miss him as well.”
“It’s all going to be okay. It gets better with time…or so I’m told.”
“Hm…”
September 21st.
That
was the day when she, along with her fiancée, moved from her small home
town into a big city, miles and miles away from home. No more friends to
ask how she’s feeling, to annoy her into doing her homework, to make her
smile when she was fighting with her fiancée… They, along with her best
friend, had stayed behind as mere memories. In only one moment of bliss
does tragedy truly strike...
Her fiancée was
someone important- someone who had a bright future ahead. She was just a
small town girl, as plain as day. She had no future plans to talk about,
because since she was small he planned on staying in the small town and
take the family business, a horse ranch. For goodness’ sake, she was
scrawny, small, obviously slow and an idiot. What could someone as
perfect as Alius see in her?
The worst part
was being away from her best friend, Lavi. He was always there, as if
they were siblings- wherever she went, her friend was never too far. They
did many things together, most of which were naughty pranks. But now...
The Lavi she knew was shadowed by a man with a hatred that killed
people.
She sighed again and Alius ran his hand
through the raven hair of his love. He knew he was destroying her,
pulling her apart from everything she ever knew so suddenly. But as much
as it pained them both, it was the truth that the small town was no longer
safe for his fiancée.
“Saku?” she asked in that sweet voice of hers. Said male hummed, watching the rain outside the window.
“Is there any chance that we are going to visit?” she continued, her breath making him shiver.
“Maybe in a few years’ time, Yoru. For now… Lavi could be out there right now, looking for you.”
“I…I…” the raven tried to say, but each and every time her tongue would refuse to move.
“I
know.” Alius said and turned his lover around to properly hug her. The
small frame was soon racked by sobs of grief and fear, as the bigger one
held her close. A wound that would never heal was resting on his beloved’s
back...
September 21st.
The day the renowned convict Faemis Lavi escaped the prison in which he was held, accused of stalking and inflicting of an almost fatal wound on Tanaka Yoru and killing of Hisashi Kira, Morita Iwao and Yamada Hiroshi. He was supposed to be euthanized the next day, but hearing that Tanaka Yoru had fled town with her fiancée, Takamaru Alius, he went in a rage and together with his partner in crime, Shigetsu Mia, he escaped. Currently all the police was on the lookout for the two escapees.
September 21st.
The
day when Takamaru Hayato, brother to Takamaru Sakuma, had to bury his two best friends, Hisashi Kira and Morita Iwao, and his
mentor, Yamada Hiroshi. Having been left with close to nothing, the
proud teenager had cried his heart out on the earth, pounding his fists
on the muddy grave and howling in the silent night. Any who saw him had
their hearth broken by the sadness he showed... even more so for those
who knew him.
September 21st.
The
one day when the paradise that became a living hell, had
finally ended. The people that survived through the ordeal were full of scars
and while some might believe it would have been better for them to have
died, the survivors smile and say that while living is hard, it is a
gift they will not refuse. For if they were to be truly dead, no one
would remember the people that were so selfishly taken away from the land of the living.
